Victorious Festival do not release there heavily anticipated lineup until next week but rumours are rife on the internet as to who many think or want them to be.
One thing is for sure, if past years are anything to go by we won’t be disappointed. A highlight leading up to the release is the reveal on the seafront at the site of the Castle Stage, a teaser as to who a headliner may be and this year it’s an absolute cracker, one that will make a lot of people very happy.
Last years sign was just the word ‘Morning’ with a graphic of cherries. Quickly identified as ‘Kings of Leon’ who were then joined by ‘Queens of the Stone Age’ and a whole host of other amazing acts across the weekend.

The two years prior had ‘Praise you’ and ‘Space Cowboy, obviously ‘Fatboy Slim’ and ‘Jamiroquai’

The sign has been revealed and it displayed the words ‘FOR THE LOVERS’, a clear indication that Richard Ashcroft is one of the main headliners, fresh off his support this year for Oasis. A true icon of british music and headliner that once again puts Victorious up there as one of the festivals not to miss next year. I once again booked on first release, validating by belief in there booking prowess.
Yesterday morning posts were already up on socials showing the construction of the sign and a wooden cutout of a man holding his guitar above his head, keenly identified by some as an exact match for the cover of Richard Ashcrofts new album ‘Lovin You’.

The album released on October 10th 2025 includes Richard’s first single ‘Lover’. Back in 2000, Ashcroft is also well known for the track ‘A Song for the Lovers”. This is seventh solo album, his first collection of new material since ‘Natural Rebel’. The lead single ‘Lover’, reimagines Joan Armatrading’s ‘Love And Affection’ and has been said to have received praise from Armatrading herself.
This is great news and if this is the the first name out the bag, the anticipation for who the other two headliners may be is high, one thing is for sure it going to be a great weekend!
