Biffy Clyro at Finsbury Park 2026 #MontheBiff

Biffy Clyro, The Biff, Biffy Fuckin Clyro, the Scottish alt-rock trio, have announced a mammoth gig at Finsbury Park in London next July and I for one would not miss it for anything. I was number 1011 in the queue when they went on pre-sale which I think is my record on any Ticketmaster queue I have ever been part of, I wanted them safely tucked away as soon as possible. Some listings say to 40,000 people, I thought capacity was about 45,000, but I have seen it listed up to 50,000.

I prefer these venues to stadiums, they do have a festival feel and the ability to walk, move, find a space to get close if there early enough or just move back and choose a relaxed space to watch from is great, surrounded by the food vans and bars. I’ve been to Finsbury Park for gigs before so I know what to expect. I’ve been there in glorious sunshine and sideways rain more reminiscent of The Biffs homeland and neither took the smile off my face. Its a fun atmosphere.

Completing the days lineup is Nothing But Thieves, Don Broco, the Marmozets and Wavves so a great lineup of bands and music, we are in for a treat. Ive seen Nothing But Thieves before and they are another fantastic live act which suit the vibe of the day well. I’m not that aware of the other three bands but that wil change before next year.

Biffy are coming off the tour for the latest album ‘Futique’ which for once I was not in a position to make, life does get in the way sometimes. The record store outstores were in reach, just but the locations and work just didnt line up. I have been a fan for years first seeing them supporting Foo Fighters back in 2011 at Milton Keynes Bowl, numerous festrival shows in 2014, 2019 and arena shows inbetween and since my thirst to see them live never wanes.

Now they dont need the press if I can call myself that or boost in marketing from me, just a fan, they have that covered, my feeds are constant with links to to the ticket sales but do not miss this day if you love live music, if you have not seen them live it is something to behold. There are some big gigs next year but this should certainly be on your calender. #MontheBiff
