A quick early instore at Vinilo Record Store in Southampton tonight with The K’s.
The band are coming to the end of a tour but still managing to fit in some stripped back instores for fans to promote their soon to be released album titled ‘Pretty on the Internet’.
The normal behaviour at these is a few songs then an album signing. With the album not due out until the 27th June 2025, the signing by the band was done on record store specific promotional posters for the album handed to every audience member, a great idea for the night. I took along my album sleeve from the first album ‘I Wonder If The World Knows?’ And they kindly signed that as well.

A great night of music. The K’s are not necessarily a band you want to see stripped back to just two members, no bass or drums. They are the band you want to use their guitars to make your ears ring and chest pound but their choice of songs for the night perfectly suited the night, the 150 strong crowd singing along in perfect unison. Only Jaime Boyle up front supported by Ryan Breslin tonight with other members Dexter Baker and Nathan Peers in attendance for the signing.

First saw this band supporting The Reytons back in October 2023 then again in December last year, I’ll certainly be front and centre at Victorious Festival this year to get another dose.
